Brief Description of Job and Division/Department
Morris County Department of Public Works, Shade Tree Division is currently accepting applications for Laborer 1. Under direction of the Shade Tree Division, performs semi-skilled and manual laboring work to assist in pruning and or removing of various trees along Morris County right of ways and Morris County owned property.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Cleans up underbrush, foliage, vines and weeds
Cuts down trees
Digs out stumps of trees
Learns to operate construction and/or maintenance equipment
Loads debris into truck for removal
Qualifications
Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey
