The Sales Analyst, Tate's will partner with Sales Leadership at Tate's with day to day sell in, forecast and customer strategy support. Will work closely with sales directors and the sales planning team with data needs for sell-in and coordinate additional needs with Senior Analyst and Sales Planning Manager. Will provide support with trade show coordination and samples requests. Manage image and data portals for 3rd party merchants. Liaison between sales team researching deductions and regular cadence of performance analysis and proof of performance. Customer contract management and maintaining customer mapping and contact lists.
How you will contribute
Forecasting Support
- Track performance of Promotions, Baselines, New Item Launch, Customer Activations versus forecast.
- Make Recommendation to improve accuracy.
- Maintain customer mapping in for input into Forecasting and Reporting systems.
- Own customer promo calendars and submissions.
Trade Operations
- Contract maintenance & Proof of performance completion process.
- Support finance in deductions matching, coordinate with sales managers and brokers to reconcile discrepancies and update plan.
- Support Sales Planner and Deductions coordinator in consolidating monthly trade roll ups and update projections in Vividly for Promotion, Slotting, EDLP spend.
Sell-In Support
- Seasonal In/Out Program - Coordinate all materials for advanced sell in, including product codes, images, sell sheets, and sample needs.
- Support Sales Directors by providing data and insights on sales deck data slide creation
- Owner of sales Sharepoint site - keeping folders/files up to date with relevant and timely brand and customer information.
- Partner with Senior Sales Analyst on broker KPI tracking.
- Manage priorities list for meeting deck preparation, coordinate with sales planning and marketing teams.
- Maintain shared category review & reset calendar and communicate updates with internal teams.
- Manage image and data portals (IX-One, 1WS) to ensure correct information and images are loaded.Submit and ensure all new products in portals and ready for retailer launch.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is required
- 2 or more years of experience with customer strategy support is required
- 2 or more years of experience with providing data and insights experience.
- Experience with Nielsen & SPINS is a strong plus
- Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) is required
- Experience with managing image and data portals (IX-One, 1WS) is ideal
- Experience with Vividly for Promotion, Slotting and EDLP spend
- Experience with customer promo calendars and submissions is ideal
- Experience with trade show coordination is ideal
- Strong Excel skills are required
- Strong communication skills
- 10-15% travel may be required
The base salary range for this position is $73,900 to $101,650; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
