Job Description
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Pine Brook, New Jersey, United States. This role primarily involves managing customer credit applications, maintaining detailed and accurate customer records, and efficiently resolving any customer inquiries. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will also be tasked with keeping a close eye on customer accounts and taking necessary actions when required.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when needed
- Maintain precise records of customer credit
- Handle customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner
- Assist with monthly accounting close procedures
- Manage and keep track of accounts receivable for all incoming cash
- Handle order processing and work order setup
- Assist with union reporting and monthly reconciliation procedures
- Oversee office supplies ordering process
- Ensure accurate and efficient contract billings
- Handle change order requests and processing
- Cover phone duties as needed and send collection emails
- Manage stamping of payroll checks and sealing of envelopes
- Maintain up-to-date work order list. Requirements - Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
- Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.
- Must have skills in Billing procedures.
- Familiarity with Cash Applications is necessary.
- Experience in Cash Collections is a must.
- Knowledge of Commercial Collections is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Familiarity with Oracle software is expected.
- Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in SAP software is necessary.
