We are looking for passionate, driven individuals to join our team focused on <em>Delivering Solutions and Improving Lives</em>.</span></div></div></div><font class="bold">Responsibilities</font><div><div><div><span><span><strong>NV5</strong> has several opportunities 6-12 years of Civil Engineering experience, with a desire to work in a Team environment, and capable of supervising Engineer/Junior Engineer level staff. This position provides the opportunity to be an integral member of a multi-discipline design team, looking for exposure to the various disciplines required for advancing transportation and civil related projects; including highway/roadway design, stormwater/drainage, traffic, survey, environmental and structures. Our multi-discipline design team approach will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to pursue a path, which aligns with their particular strengths and interest as their career advances. We currently have a wealth of interesting projects, from local road resurfacing to large-scale highway improvements, intersection improvements, drainage and stormwater improvements, pedestrian/ADA accommodation designs, as well as several specialized projects involving amphibian roadway crossing infrastructure, design of pedestrian/bicycle paths and raised boardwalks thru environmentally sensitive areas.</span> <span>This position provides an excellent opportunity for career growth.</span></span> <span><strong><span>The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:</span></strong><span><br>Work alongside Project Managers and Supervising Engineers in delivering transportation and civil related projects, including providing technical oversight to engineering staff on project tasks such as;</span></span><ul><div><span>Preparation of roadway/highway design and plan development from conceptual design to final contract plans. Typical tasks include horizontal and vertical layout, typical sections, profiles, grading, cross sections, maintenance and protection of traffic and construction plan preparation. Prepare quantity calculations, cost estimates, and supplementary specification support. </span></div><li><span>Preparation of technical reports and studies, including Concept Development and Final Design Reports.</span></li><li><span>Lead project field visits to perform condition ass
