Job Description
This role can be hired as a Grade 18 or 19; candidate experience will determine grade.
Purpose:
This role works in collaboration with the Associate Director, HCP Promotions and the full HCP Promotions team to develop and execute strategic and tactical marketing plans to drive brand growth. This individual is responsible for managing cross-functional teams in the development and execution of advertising and promotional tactics. This position requires the individual to foster positive working relationships to partner collaboratively with internal and external partners to execute plans.
Responsibilities:
- Work on deliverables of marketing plans and tasks.
- Utilize marketing skills to analyze and execute, including solidifying and growing franchise market position.
- Make proposals and recommendations based on business direction, market dynamics and data.
- Maintain awareness of relevant market dynamics and trends, and the application on the franchise and business plans.
- Execute go-to-market plans.
- Drive for results through the oversight of sales force execution via clear and concise communication and delivering impactful training initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Marketing experience with proof of building proficiencies in all marketing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience
- Previous experience in product management, specifically in the US market for HCP personal and non-personal promotion
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously with high attention to detail and ability to prioritize among competing business needs
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to make effective presentations to internal and external customers
- Sound financial acumen and previous experience with budget ownership
- Ability to define, track, analyze key performance measures and make data-driven recommendations
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and an ability to drive consensus among a broad cross functional team to achieve marketing goals
- Is a self-starter, extremely organized, intellectually curious, and can change course rapidly where required
- Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materials
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, attending sales meetings, field visits, conferences, market research, meetings with key stakeholders
- A potential pharmaceutical leader who is excellence focused, optimistic, open, and authentic
