Description:
We are seeking a dedicated PC Support Technician to join our team in Morris Plains, NJ. The ideal candidate will have experience serving as an IT support resource for manufacturing customers. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage technical issues and provide exceptional customer service to end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive IT Level 2 support for PCs and laptops.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Perform various PC-related tasks, including desk setup, cable management, monitor and dock connections, and connection testing.
- Ensure seamless workstation functionality for all users.
- Offer troubleshooting support for customers within the facility.
- Address device connection issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption to their work.
- Move or swap equipment around the warehouse as needed.
- Maintain an organized and efficient workspace to support operational needs.
- Escalate complex issues to internal IT partners and teams when necessary.
- Ensure prompt and effective problem resolution to maintain high service standards.

- Customer Service: Demonstrate the ability to handle conflict effectively.
- Provide high-level customer service to blue-collar end users, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
- Personality: Strong emphasis on personality fit; the ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving.
