HR Generalist – Benefits & HRIS – 09NJ
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
• Acts as the primary interface for employees in all aspects of their benefits; responds to benefits inquiries; handles all enrollment transactions (new, changes, terms); facilitates annual open enrollment; and interprets information from the plan documents.
• Partners with Payroll/Finance to ensure timely resolution of open items, system issues, and benefits/deduction processing in a time-sensitive manner
• Ensure timely reconciliation and processing of invoices for benefits and other HR vendors
• Administers the company leave of absence program, tracks LOAs, and ensures the proper approval and filing of FMLA and/or LOA documents
• Monitors and maintain all data feeds with vendors, providing manual entry or uploads where necessary
• Serves as administrator for the HRIS/HCM systems and as a primary contact with HRIS/HCM vendor and/or Solix IT for matters related to HR.
• Writes, maintains and generates a variety of ad hoc and custom reports utilizing available reporting tools. Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports and metrics. Prepares annual benefits statements as needed.
• Administers the savings and retirement program. Ensure employee elections are accurately entered in HRIS. Processes loans and withdrawals as needed. Supports annual audit of plans and non-discrimination testing activities.
• Organizes and runs assigned Company programs such as volunteerism, wellness, etc.
• Special projects as assigned
Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• Proven experience in human resources role (benefits, employee relations, et al.)
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
• Superb customer service ability
• Experience working with HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel. Should be able to create, format, and manage spreadsheets, use formulas, lookups, and imports.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to competently perform write ups based on Solix procedures.
