Job Title: Clinical Office ManagerJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Office Manager who will be responsible for managing the main practice in Morristown. This role involves 80% managerial work and 20% nursing work, ensuring the smooth operation of the office and providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire office, including approximately 30 staff members.
- Assist in overseeing daily clinical operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulations.
- Manage patient scheduling and coordinate appointments.
- Handle financial tasks such as billing, invoicing, and budgeting.
- Supervise staff, including training and scheduling.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with human resources for staffing needs.
- Ensure seamless communication between healthcare providers and administrative staff.
- Oversee the lab functions of the office, including inventory management.
- Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and medical history.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform specimen collection processing and manage laboratory results.
- Assist in pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort.
- Provide specialized care in areas such as ophthalmology, toddler care, and behavioral health.
- Maintain accurate patient records in Epic, including documentation of ICD-10 codes for diagnoses.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures within the healthcare setting.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Epic and electronic health records.
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Valid NJ State Nursing License.
- 5 years of nursing experience.
- 2 years of leadership experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient, urology, or oncology settings is a plus.
- Strong willingness to learn and lead.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Good character and adaptability.
- Assertiveness when needed.
Work Environment
This is a salaried role with a great work-life balance and no weekends. The shift is Monday to Friday, starting around 7/7:30am, with the latest end time around 6:00pm. The last patient appointment is at either 4:30 or 5:00pm, allowing the Clinical Office Manager to leave after that. The role is ideal for someone who can accommodate the given schedule.
