Job Description
As a Lead Field Service Technician - Building Automation/HVAC here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide technical expertise and leadership in the field service operations for building automation and HVAC systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our New Jersey location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency, reliability, and safety of building automation and HVAC systems, contributing to the overall comfort and productivity of building occupants.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building automation and HVAC systems
- Conduct system inspections and preventive maintenance
- Provide technical support and guidance to field service technicians
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in field service for building automation and HVAC systems
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in building automation and HVAC systems
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
