Job Description
<strong>Overview</strong><span><span>This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.</span></span> <span>This position is the senior level analyst in financial reporting and analysis for the business unit. Serves as an analytic resource for Deposit products related queries by providing advanced support. Recommends improvements to current forecast process, and controls to achieve financial objectives. Generates Deposit pricing reports, or other documentation as needed. </span> <br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><ul><li><strong><span> Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs complex data analysis, effectively communicating and directing analysis output. </span></strong></li><li><span>Owns the financial model for Total client funds and Deposit forecast. Refresh model monthly to review actual results based on latest detailed product data. Continually evaluate appropriateness of financial forecast assumptions considering model performance thresholds and recent performance period. Ensures compliance with firm Model Risk Management requirements.</span></li><li><span>Leverage Liquidity solutions input such as Rates betas, exception pricing, rate strategy and material strategic initiatives impacting projections.</span></li><li><span>Supports Liquidity Product team and the Commercial bank segments with ad-hoc analytics as requested to support business strategies.</span></li><li><span> </span><strong><span>Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, company trends, and financial processes. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. Conducts other internal reporting projects as needed. May develop process enhancements based on reporting.</span></strong></li><li><span>Produce financial performance reporting monthly for Total client funds and Deposits products. Pro-actively continuously evaluate for enhancements and develop new approach for forecasting. </span></li><li><span>Produce month-end close reporting of actual results versus expectations and provide supporting commentary to business and Corporate FP&A team.</span></li><li><span>Presents monthly results to the business in Monthly Business Review forums.</span></li><li><strong><span> Business Support - Provides advanced support to management, associates, and other key groups via analysis output and financial expertise. Directs information and process updates across systems. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering guidance and participating in strategic initiatives. May prepare documentation, presentations, or other materials for business purposes. </span></strong></li><li><span>Provide support to the business on ad-hoc finance related questions including evaluating financial impact of planned Deposit pricing changes.</span></li><li><span>Support new product launches with required financial infrastructure build out.</span></li><li><span>Support business case development or other strategic investment requests.</span></li><li><strong><span> Financial Support - Tracks performance across assigned systems, products, or business units, and identifies issues limiting potential gains. Recommends workflow changes to achieve financial goals or minimize financial impact. Assists management in implementing recommended changes, and in ensuring compliance. </span></strong></li><li><span>Produce updated financial forecasts for Deposits volume and rates supported by client, company trends, private and public funding environment.
