The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician safely and independently performs preventive, routine, and reactive maintenance tasks. What you'll do Perform predictive, preventative, corrective and routine maintenance on production equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, assemble and install electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic systems and centrifugal and diaphragm pumps. Calibrate process control equipment maintain motor starters, variable frequency drives, and servo controls. Ability to perform circuit board repairs via circuit board soldering, wiring connectors, multi-conductor cables and rework techniques through use of various test equipment. Perform assembly of power supplies and other electronic equipment. Install and repair PVC and CPVC plumbing, piping, conduit, and raceway systems. Perform interior and exterior facilities and building maintenance. Document work activities using CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).What you will bring High school diploma or GED with 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (CNC preferred) or Associate Degree or Certificate equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school in related field and three years of experience in a manufacturing environment (CNC preferred). Knowledge of AC/DC circuits in both high and low voltage applications. Working knowledge of controls, mechanical, electrical, and electronic principles. Basic computer skills (Windows environment).Eligibility Requirements Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work overtime as required including occasional weekend shift. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.What will make you stand out J-STD 001 or ISO 2000 soldering certification or equivalent. Proficiency in electro-mechanical, industrial control, servo driven motors and controls, pneumatic, hydraulic, and pump systems. Ability to follow assembly drawing and schematics / basic procedures / wire runs lists. Experience working with measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, multimeters, and oscilloscopes. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.Additional Information Comprehensive benefit package (including retirement, medical, dental, vision, 12 paid holidays and more...). 2nd shift- 2pm - 10pm. 10% differential for 2nd shift.The base hourly pay range for this position is $35 -$45 hr. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 10% shift differential. ​
