We are looking for passionate, driven individuals to join our team focused on <em>Delivering Solutions and Improving Lives</em>.</span> </div></div></div><font class="bold">Responsibilities</font><div><div><div><span><span>NV5 has several opportunities for <strong>Senior and Principal Engineers</strong> to join our Civil Transportation/Roadway Department in our Parsippany, NJ office. We seek motivated candidates with 5 - 20 years of Engineering experience, with a desire to work in a Team environment, and capable of supervising Engineer/Junior Engineer level staff. These positions provide the opportunity to be an integral member of a multi-discipline design team, looking for exposure to the various disciplines required for advancing transportation and civil related NJDOT and County projects. Our multi-discipline design team approach will provide the successful candidates the opportunity to pursue a path, focused on technical and/or project management which aligns with their strengths and interest. <strong><em>We currently have a wealth of interesting projects, and given our office current workload and backlog, <u>these positions provide excellent opportunities for fast-track career growth.</u> </em></strong>O</span><span>ur office also has a significant backlog of (Transportation Assistance Program (TAP) and Safe Routes to School (SRTS) projects with NJDOT. Depending on your level of experience, there are excellent opportunities to provide leadership or support on these assignments. </span></span></div></div></div><font class="bold">Qualifications</font><div><div><div><ul><div><span>Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (BSCE)</span></div><li><span>NJ PE License</span></li><li><span>Work alongside Project Managers in delivering transportation and civil related projects, including providing technical oversight to engineering staff.<strong><em> The NV5 NJ office has exceptional experienced staff with the desire to train and support Technical Management and/or Project Management career goals of the applicant. </em></strong></span></li><li><span>Preparation of roadway/highway design and plan development from conceptual design to final contract plans. </span></li><li><span>Familiarity with TAP and SRTS projects through NJDOT Local Aid a Plus.</span></li><li><span>Preparation of technical reports and studies, including Concept Development and Final Design Reports.</span></li><li><span>Lead project field visits to
