Team or Function Overview
The Master Data Management (MDM) Intern will utilize processes and policies for how data is managed and accessed in our systems landscape (e.g. Salesforce, SAP S/4). In addition, you will assist with the development of systems and processes for data sourcing, mastering, and dissemination of data sets across various platforms.
They are required to be a good communicator, active listener with a critical thinking mindset, who will support the operational direction of master data management within an enterprise platform.
Essential Duties
- Understand business requirements and translate into business rules to assist with data analysis (Tableau and other reporting tools) and transformation in support of SAP implementation, configuring master data, workflows, and integration processes to effectively support the creation and ongoing maintenance of master data.
- Gain awareness of requirements for our data strategy implementation.
- Learn to analyze business processes to determine data quality root cause.
- Provide data consulting in support of business and departmental objectives.
- Assist with the development of master data management platforms.

Education/Experience
- 1 - 2 years experience in an undergraduate program focused on a Business or Business Data Management environment
