<strong>Overview</strong><span>This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States; however occasional travel to FCB Hub Locations will be required.</span> <span>The <strong>Device Operations Engineer </strong>role is an individual contributor within the Device Operations team, part of the Digital Workplace Technology organization which drives the Bank's end user platform. This operations engineer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining endpoint infrastructure, optimizing and automating operational processes, executing minor upgrades, and ensuring the stability, security, and compliance of endpoint environments for the bank's 20,000+ technology end users.</span><span>The role primarily focuses on operational support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance, ensuring endpoint environments run optimally. The Device Operations Engineer will collaborate with Device Engineering on enhancements, major upgrades and implementation efforts for architecture design and projects.The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication and collaboration skills and is well versed in all phases of desktop and endpoint management. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Group Policy Management, and Windows Operating Systems is required.</span> <br><strong>Staffing Need:</strong><strong> </strong><ul><li><strong>Endpoint Support and Troubleshooting: </strong>Serve as Tier 3 escalation point for endpoint environment issues.</li><li><strong>System Maintenance and Optimization: </strong>Ensure high availability, security and compliance of endpoint environments, especially pertaining to the MECM ecosystem.</li><li><strong>Configuration and Compliance: </strong>Support endpoint policy enforcement, security configurations and device lifecycle processes.</li><li><strong>Troubleshooting and Support: </strong>Handle escalations, diagnose and resolve system and desktop issues, provide technical support and training to Support personnel.</li><li><strong>Collaboration: </strong>Partner with Device Engineering with testing and validating endpoint configurations and policies.</li></ul><br><strong>Our Technology Stack:</strong><ul><li><strong>Operating systems: </strong>Windows 10/11, MacOS Sonoma/Sequoia, iOS, Android</li><li><strong>Endpoint Management: </strong>MECM, WSUS, IBCM, CMG, Intune MDM and MAM, JAMF Cloud</li><li><strong>Security and Compliance: </strong>Bitlocker/MBAM, Enterprise Vault, CyberArk EPM, Absolute Control</li><li><strong>Virtualization and VDI: </strong>vSphere, Horizon, Citrix on ESX, Azure Virtual Desktop (Future)</li><li><strong>Collaboration and Tools: </strong>Zoom desktop conferencing, conference room scheduling and digital signage running on Poly xStudio, Neat Pad, DTEN and Azulle solutions</li><li><strong>Hardware: </strong>Lenovo and Dell Desktops, Laptops, 2-in-1s</li><li><strong>Scripting: </strong>PowerShell, Bourne Shell, Bash</li></ul> <br><strong>Responsibilities</strong> <ul><li><strong>SYSTEM MAINTENANCE AND CONFIGURATION - </strong>Contributes to the design, build, test and deployment of desktop operating system standards utilizing desktop management tools, scripting tools and centralized directory policies to expand, reduce and control access. Maintains knowledge on new releases and continuously builds for onboarding them in the enterprise.</li><li><strong>MULTI-TIER AND CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE</strong> - Contributes to the design, build, test and deployment multi-tier on-premise and cloud-based solutions that deliver end user services. Configure and optimize server operating systems and databases for maximum availability and resiliency. Build dependable disaster recovery strategies pairing high availability technology with business continuity processes.</li><li><strong>CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT</strong> - Contributes to the design, build, test and deployment of configuration
