Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for confirming prescriptions, answering questions about medications, and entering prescriptions into our database. You will handle a high volume of inbound calls, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Responsibilities
- Confirm prescriptions and ensure accuracy.
- Answer questions about medications and provide detailed information to patients.
- Enter prescriptions into the database accurately and efficiently.
- Handle 40-50 inbound calls per day, providing excellent customer service.
- Assist with prior authorizations and other related tasks.
Essential Skills
- Pharmacy Technician license in the state of NJ.
- 6+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
- Customer service experience (2 years preferred).
- Experience in retail pharmacy, healthcare, and call centers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Data entry experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual abilities (preferred).
- Strong personality and communication skills.
- Open to candidates with retail pharmacy experience.
- Experience with high call volumes.
Work Environment
The position operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime available. There is potential for the position to transition to a remote role in the future.
