KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Communications to join our Corporate Affairs organization.
Responsibilities:
- Execute communications projects, tasks, and deliverables that seek to shape, advance, and protect the firm's reputation, especially those projects related to employee engagement and content strategy
- Create and implement effective, collaborative communications plans that raise partner and employee awareness as well as engagement around priority initiatives and firmwide transformations; work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination of stakeholder communication and engagement
- Develop engaging content and messaging for key internal audiences, tailor messages for multiple channels including the KPMG US One Intranet, email newsletters, and Viva Engage
- Serve as the lead editor and strategist for the firm's weekly employee newsletter sent to thirty-five thousand plus employees; ensure content is timely, engaging and informative; use data and email communications best practices to refine newsletter strategy as needed
- Monitor and report on employee engagement and sentiment; use insights to help inform communications strategies, including content development and channel strategies, that maximize impact and build trust
- Foster and maintain collaborative relationships across the firm, proactively support other team members and projects, coordinate with the wider team to identify strategic communications opportunities to ensure messaging consistency
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience working in communications, public relations, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing communications deliverables and strategies
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Exceptional AP Style writing, editing, and proofreading skills; excellent attention to detail and ability to create clear, concise, and compelling content for a variety of audiences and channels
- Experience curating and tailoring compelling content for multiple channels, including email newsletters sent to large and diverse audiences; comfortable using web-based email platforms to build, send, and measure engagement around email communications
- Comfortable working with senior leaders; experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines; flexible and proactive team player who exercises independent judgment and can excel in ambiguity
