Landscape Laborer. 4 temp/full-time positions with Martin Lawn Care, A Partnership, L.L.P. dba Martin Nursery from 4/1/25 - 12/21/25.
Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equip. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, grading, seeding, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking and assist with installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Entry level, req supervision.
Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Sat work req, when necessary. On-the-job training will be provided to the worker. Emp pays in advance or reimburses workers in the first workwk for all government-mandated and visa-related fees (excluding passport fees). For non-local workers (i.e., residing outside normal commuting distance), emp reimburses inbound travel costs at the 50% point in the contract (unless paid in advance). Inbound travel includes transp costs from workers perm residence or place of recruitment, a daily meal subsistence (based on rates req by law, currently $15.88/day min or $59.00 per day max for workers with acceptable receipts), and reasonable lodging costs, if applicable. Travel reimbursements based on least-cost common carrier rate.
Emp provides or pays outbound travel costs upon completion of the contract period or early dismissal, except where the worker has subsequent employment. Emp guarantees to offer hrs equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-wk period of the total contract period, beg with the workers first workday and ending on the contract end date or any extension thereof. Emp may count all hrs worked, as well as any hrs offered within the standard work schedule that a worker chooses to not work, up to the max number of daily hrs on the job order. Workers who voluntarily abandon employment are not entitled to payment for outbound travel costs or the full three-fourths period guarantee described above. Emp provides without charge all tools, supplies and equip (incl. uniforms, if applicable) necessary to perform duties assigned.
JOB LOCATION:
12 Righter Rd Randolph, NJ 07869 and multiple worksites within Sussex, Somerset, Morris and Hunterdon counties. Emp provides incidental transport between job sites. No daily transp to/from workers' home and primary worksite. Such transp complies with all applicable Federal, State, & local laws/regulations.
WAGE INFORMATION:
Wage rate is no less than $21.87/Hr. OT hrs vary at: $32.81/Hr. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered at emp's discretion, based on individual factors such as performance, skill, and tenure. A single workwk will be used to compute wages due. The payroll period is weekly. Workers are paid by check on Tues. The standard work schedule is from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM, Mon - Fri. Emp will offer 40 hrs per wk. Emp may offer more than the stated work hrs, depending on weather, business needs, & other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hrs. Emp makes all payroll deductions req by law. Emp does not envision other workforce-wide payroll deductions.
