Job Description

- Engage and participate in the project's Health & Safety program and culture
- Monitor construction, coordinate field and site issues as directed by the Client's Marine Construction Lead
- Attend pre-installation, field coordination and construction meetings
- Coordinate inspections with the Contractor
- Prepare field reports
- Review special inspection reports, material testing reports and track deficiencies
- Document field conditions through photos and other records
- Conduct RFI reviews
- Perform the field verification of contractor's payment application and review the Contractor proposed values for payment application.
- Assist Client with Contractor's Change Event Notifications, including review of scope and cost.
- Monitor contractor's QA/QC effort and coordinate with Equinor's special inspectors
- Review contractor management plan for construction and field impacts
- Provide constructability insight to Contractors Construction Work Plans.
- Review of contractor's As-Built plans
- Review and track O&M Manuals
- Assist with documenting and resolving warranty items
- Ability to work on site (at a project site in Brooklyn) 5 days per week - construction is anticipated to be completed at the end of 2025.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (consideration will be given to individuals with other degrees combined with construction management experience)
- Substantial years experience as a resident engineer and/or design engineer with extensive construction oversight experience
- Experience in the design and construction of marine and waterfront projects, preferably in the NY/NJ area.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and/or CMAR experience a plus
- Good understanding of marine construction Including dredging works.
- Experience working with NYC agencies and a good understanding of regulatory requirements (DoB, SBS, DEP, DOT, DEC, FDNY, etc.)
- OSHA 10 certificate or ability to obtain
