In addition to nurturing and advancing the lives of our residents, our team members enjoy meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth, within a supportive culture centered around advancing <em>their</em> lives, as well.<b><span>The Opportunity</span></b>The Licensed Caregiver - LPN is part of the Health & Wellness Team responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals.<b><span>What You'll Do</span></b><ul><li>Helping residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing</li><li>Supporting residents with medication.</li><li>Repositioning residents in bed and escorting them around the community</li><li>Toileting, incontinent care</li><li>Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate and pulse</li><li>Observe and report on residents' health, escalating any problems efficiently and effectively</li><li>Detail daily reports to Nurse, or designated charge person, at end of shift</li><li>Provide emotional support and serve as a source of comfort for residents and their loved ones</li><li>Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report to a supervisor</li><li>Perform nursing assessments, including vital signs monitoring, physical examinations, and health status evaluations, to identify and address resident needs promptly.</li><li>Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as directed by the registered nurse or healthcare provider, following applicable state regulations, established protocols and infection control practices.</li><li>Responsibilities include customer service, safety, resident care, and communication.</li></ul><b><span>What You'll Bring</span></b><b><span>POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:</span></b><ul><li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li><li>Must pass State and Company criminal background/drug screens.</li><li>Demonstrates effective time management skills.</li><li>High school graduate or equivalent.</li><li>Must have a valid, unrestricted nursing license in the state.</li><li>Current CPR certification. </li><li>Maintain CEU requirements.</li><li>Read, write, speak and understand the English language.</li><li>Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.</li><li>Interpret and implement written or oral policies, procedures, and instructions.</li><li>Staff supervision</li><li>Assessment and resident care skills;</li><li>Medication management principles and practice; and</li><li>Written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><strong>We Got You</strong><br>We see and support the whole you.
