Are you an experienced inpatient Physical Therapist Assistant who is looking to transition to a Nationally Recognized Hospital? If so, Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for the Inpatient PT Department at Morristown Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who will provide exceptional care to our patients. Principal Accountabilities:
Essential functions include providing skilled interventions according to the patient's established plans of care, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately. Supports PT's as needed. Participates in the orientation of new staff members, serves as a clinical instructor for students, exercises independent judgement of moderately complex cases and with minimal to no supervision.
Required:
- New Jersey License to practice as Physical Therapist Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant academic program as evidenced by NJ licensure
- 4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is strongly preferred
Preferred:
Experience in Acute Care in large academic medical setting.
Progressively increasing responsibilities for departmental activities including successful non-patient care projects and items.
