Summary :
GAF is evolving for the future and launching a multi- year ERP implementation project to elevate our systems and sustain future growth. If you are passionate about the people side of transformation - including change management and training - experienced with SAP or other ERPs, and ready to help both home office and manufacturing plant teams successfully transition to new processes, systems and ways of working throughout this project and into the future, you may be our next Change and Training Manager.
In this role, you will implement integrated change management strategies supporting one or more of eight total process workstreams, such as Source to Pay and Order to Cash. In addition to learning GAF business processes and ways of working, your responsibilities include developing and executing change management plans, assessing and engaging stakeholders, mitigating risks, building and delivering process-oriented end user training, developing Change Champions, and fostering a culture of adaptability and engagement during a time of significant change and beyond. We are looking for a dynamic team player who can collaborate with workstream process owners, dedicated subject matter experts, technical teams, external integration partners, and end users in both corporate and plant settings to drive change, ensure readiness and enable ongoing adoption.
Essential Duties:
● Change Strategy and Execution:
○ Collaborate with Change and Communication Leads, process workstream team members and external implementation partners to design and activate initial change strategy, aligning it with the project goals and organization's long term mission.
○ Assess change impact on stakeholders, processes, customers and suppliers, and identify readiness and mitigation strategies.
○ Identify communication needs and engagement plans to support specific process workstream and connected stakeholder groups
○ Identify critical skill gaps by workstream and collaborate with internal and external partners to bridge gaps.
○ Build Change Champions network to support adoption and scale organizational change capability
● Training Support / Content Development :
○ Complete training needs assessment, identify training approach and provide input to recommended role-specific training curriculum
○ Partner with SME and GPO leads and business trainers to jointly design and deliver effective and timely end user training
○ Collaborate with workstreams to connect process and business context to technical 'how to' documentation designed by external content developers
○ Build Power User network to support end user training and ensure ongoing adoption
○ Provide on going Hypercare and enhancements training support
● Measurement:
○ Identify learning and adoption KPIs to measure success and effectiveness of change and training strategies. Monitor progress, gather feedback and make data-driven adjustments to change approach and drive adoption.
Under This Roof, We Require:
- Bachelor's degree in Change Management, Business, Education or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in change management roles, with a proven track record in leading transformational and technical change initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in training documentation and delivery, with ability to flex training style for both corporate and manufacturing plant audiences
- 3+ years of recent SAP S/4 HANA experience
- Excellent communication skills and highly proficient facilitation capabilities

- Change Management certification, including Prosci, CCMP or other certification strongly preferred.
- Certification in training and development strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of IT transformation methodologies, inputs and timelines.
- Prior manufacturing experience and understanding of business process
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences and communicate the message to multiple levels.
- Previous experience in leading change management and training initiatives during IT transformations, including global ERPs
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external change and training resources, including offshore content development teams
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and work in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Location: This position is hybrid, with 3 days per week in our Parsippany, NJ HQ location. It will involve travel to US-based GAF manufacturing plants.
