Job Description
The Business Analytics Advisor will play a significant role in the expansion and enhancement of Cigna's suite of client reporting. You will serve as the voice of our internal and external customers, providing analytic, storytelling and product management support to various project teams. Your goal is to not only present information to our employer clients though our client reporting offerings, but in portraying data in a way which can be used by a client to make decisions while simultaneously portraying Cigna as the insurer of choice for our employer clients. This isn't about presenting numbers, but rather in sharing your expertise through our reporting solutions. The Business Analytics Advisor role not only requires an understanding of Cigna's products and solutions, but also the ability to work with our internal partners to define the vision of future client reporting.
This is a unique opportunity to use your skills in business and data analysis to positively influence the health of Cigna's clients, demonstrate Cigna's value proposition, and show Cigna as the partner of choice to our clients through our client reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the "voice of the customer" on project teams, bringing your analytic, storytelling and subject matter expertise to shape the direction of client reporting
- Requires the ability to "tell the story" of Cigna's products and solutions to external clients through our client reporting tools by service as a subject matter expert
- Serve as key partner to internal stakeholders and ensure that client reporting meets both external client and internal partner needs
- Support the identification of data sources, calculations, logic and other core requirements to enable the development of client reporting
- "Making it real" in the ability to move around barriers that delay or prevent client reporting from delivered on time and within partner expectations
Qualifications
- 3-5 years working in business analytics, product management, consulting, government or sales
- Experience with Cigna's pharmacy solutions and/or wellness programs along with their associated value proposition strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data to formulate a compelling case for action
- Experience with data analysis or business intelligence software such as SAS, Python, Tableau, ThoughtSpot and others preferred
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
