The Role
The role of Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence is responsible in the development of Business Intelligence solutions. He/She will be working closely with IT to understand the underlying data models, which includes understanding the relationships between key tables, attributes, measures, and logical definitions. He/She will also be liaising with the business stakeholders and the Analytics teams to understand business requirements, in order to identify and to recommend the best solution to the end users. Working within our BI tools, he/she will be creating the data architecture to support reporting, as well as documenting business logics implemented. Finally, he/she will be creating flexible and high performance reports, dashboards, algorithms, models, and scripts that provide business insights to the stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Analyze user requirements and design functional specifications for BI applications
- Understand the business requirements and be able to translate them into technical details
- Develop reports, dashboards, algorithms, and scripts
- Develop algorithms and scripts that support the reports and dashboards within the BI ecosystem, based on user requirements as well as technical specifications
- Design, code, test, and document all new or modified BI systems, applications, and programs
- Provide documentation and user guides that are easily digestible to the end users
You'll be successful if you have
- Python, SQL, or similar programming languages
- Interest in the hospitality industry
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Rising seniors.
- Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Business, and other closely related degrees preferred.
- Be enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Be a rising undergraduate senior or pursuing a graduate degree.
