Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an Engineering Intern in Florham Park, NJ. This position will be responsible for performing entry-level mechanical, electrical and/or controls engineering activities associated with the design of Automatic Transfer Switches.<br/><br/>Primary Responsibilities:<br/>Assist other experience engineers with various activities (i.e. CAD, SCADA programming, Process Improvement, Test Automation, Etc.).<br/>Help organize design engineering documentation.<br/>Shadow experienced engineers & designers in day-to-day work activities.<br/>Participates in training programs<br/>Continuous experimentation mentality to add value to the team while reducing waste.<br/><br/>What qualifications will make you successful for this role?<br/>Sophomore, Junior, or Senior level status in relevant engineering degree program.<br/>Basic understanding of mechanical / electrical engineering / computer science / equivalent.<br/>Basic verbal and written communication skills including, but not limited to, listen effectively, and solicit input from others, work well in a team environment.<br/>Basic ability to use Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.<br/>Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.<br/>Familiar with CAD 2D/3D & CAD management systems is a plus for some projects.<br/><br/>Let us learn about you!
