We are seeking a <strong>Software Engineer </strong>with 6 to 10 years of experience in .Net Programming and Payer domain expertise. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in VB .Net ADO.NET ASP.NET Core Web API SQL ASP.NET Core and C# .Net. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to our projects and drive impactful results. <font class="bold">The Role: Fulltime with Cognizant. </font> <ul> <li><strong>Role: Software Engineer with VB.NET, SQL Server & WCF</strong></li> <li><strong>Location: Morris Plains -NJ (Hybrid).</strong></li> </ul> <font class="bold">Roles/Responsibilities:</font> <ul> <li>Should have experience with backend development.</li> <li>Should have experience with front end development.</li> <li>Candidate should have strong communication skills and coordination skills</li> <li>Looking for someone proactive and go getter.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and work with client directly.</li> <li>Have good experience in client interaction as it is client interaction role.</li> <li>Very good communication skill and work with a team.</li> <li>Added advantage of we have associates with Agile experience in the past projects and ability adapt in the agile sprint environment.</li> <li>Experience in work with a team and lead a smaller team to deliver the day to day work you're doing.</li> </ul> <font class="bold">Qualifications:</font> <ul> <li>VB.Net development experience required (Windows Form/EXE development, WCF Service). Experience with Powe Shell Scripts is a plus.</li> <li>Strong experience related to writing stored procedure using MS T-SQL and relational database structure.</li> <li>Complex SQL operations (Joins, data aggregation and grouping, data transformation.</li> <li>Strong Transaction, temp table utilization and T-SQL knowledge.</li> <li>MS SQL Server Database optimization, query and database job optimization.</li> <li>Data transfer and ETL (SSIS, DTS, Replication Services, QLIK) is a big plus.</li> <li>Experience with data transfer from SQL Server to other Database platforms (DB2 desirable).</li> <li>Data modeling/normalization/denormalization experience desired.</li> <li>Database migration (SQL Server upgrade/migration) experience a plus.</li> </ul> <font class="bold">Salary and Other Compensation:</font> The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
