<strong>Overview</strong><span>This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.</span> <span>The Senior Risk Analyst - Portfolio Analysis reports to the Manager - Portfolio Analysis and supports the team responsible for execution the Bank's Portfolio Analysis team. This team is responsible for the build out and execution of regularly scheduled and ad hoc and forward-looking portfolio analytics and sensitivity analysis. The team provides the firm with to provide a venue for considering comprehensive firm wide impacts of changes in internal or external factors to portfolios, products, or business lines.</span> <br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><span>The Senior Risk Analyst works within the team to deliver on current and long-term analytical priorities; execute day to day activities, including portfolio analytics, sensitivity analysis, econometric analysis, and other analyses as deemed necessary. </span><span>The Senior Risk analyst supports Bank responses to audit, model risk management and regulatory examinations and for all assigned Portfolio Analysis activities and coordinates these activities with the Manager- Portfolio Analysis, and Senior Director - Risk Analytics.</span><ul><li><span>In partnership with group leadership, execute of the Bank's Portfolio analysis programs. </span></li><li><span>Mine, cultivate, and analyze available data to determine potential analysis.</span></li><li><span>Reconcile analyzed data sources to available internal and external reporting. </span></li><li><span>Ensure completeness and accuracy of analyzed data sets, noting data quality or completeness concerns to management.</span></li><li><span>Execute assigned analytical exercises.</span></li><li><span>Document and report on the results of assigned analyses.</span></li><li><span>Develop relationships with the Credit Risk organization and leverage these relationships to determine new areas of the portfolio where further analyses may be beneficials. </span></li></ul> <br><strong>Qualifications</strong><ul>Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Risk management, or financial analysis, or statistical modeling OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Risk management, or financial analysis, or statistical modeling</ul><strong><span>Additional Requirements:</span></strong><ul><ul><ul><li><span>Experience with Data manipulation and analytical softward (SAS, SQL, Python, Netezza, Oracle, Tableau, PowerBI, Etc</span></li><li><span>Experience working with large datasets.</span></li><li><span>Experience designing and/or executing analytical processes.</span></li><li><span>Expert skills in Excel/PowerPoint. </span></li><li><span>Strong knowledge of Credit Risk principles</span></li><li><span>Strong communication skills - interpersonal.</span></li><li><span>Organization skills - Detail oriented.</span></li></ul></ul></ul><strong><span> </span></strong><strong><span>Preferred Qualifications:</span></strong><ul><ul><ul><li><span>Experience in large financial institutions.</span></li><li><span>Prior Credit Risk Experience</span></li><li><span>2 years of experience with stress testing, underwriting, reporting, analytics, or data.</span></li></ul></ul></ul><span>If hired in CA, the base pay for this position is generally between $113,318 and $196,428. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
