Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Our Client is a Full-Service MEP Firm with a focus in the Life Science, Healthcare, and Pharmaceutical project space. They are hiring a Mechanical Engineer with a focus on high level engineering design and calculations experience. Our Client is recognized nationally as a top 100 MEP firm and has won several national awards. They allow their engineers to experiment with new ideas, and chase the projects they're interested in. Job Description
- Design mechanical systems for a variety of projects including pharmaceutical, healthcare, laboratories, and mission-critical facilities.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into building designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout.
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for HVAC, boiler, and chiller systems.
- Evaluate energy efficiency and sustainability aspects of mechanical designs.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise.
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, EIT/PE is a plus
- 3-8+ years of experience with MEP Consulting Firm
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit is a plus
- Experience designing a variety of projects from schematic concept to completion with little to no supervision
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Work Environment
- Hybrid work model with 3 days in-office (Tuesday to Thursday) and 2 days working from home.
